Reflection on WIKI experience.

I had alot of fun in class when engaging in group activity. I find interacting with new friends a joyous thing to do. although working individually, we engage everyones thinking and putting it together. The most challenging part is when everyone runs our of idea. ideas would generate faster and clearer if there is a clear view of things in the start. with a better view of the whole story. Any groups going to do this assignment should do so. I would use EIR-Rawks wiki as i could find seniors view and work and take it as a reference for my own.

EIR Tut 3 &4

Hello, Early morning again -.- Haha.
Started on my Port folio part 2 today. Did some point form notes in the worksheet. Due to my" Want to complete work on time", i didnt do much tut 3 and 4 actually but will look it up at home during free time. however, through the case study and video presentation , till now, den i know that twitter could be a learning platform too. through thinking and reflecting on our learnings, its part of learning any. For example, a group of friends might talk about a certain topic discussed. In that, learning takes place too!. HAHA

After todays lesson, I've learnt how to evaluate a website in full detailed.
Firstly, the webpage would be considered trustworthy or not by judging whether theres is a moderator for a particular forum for instance.
To know whether the website belongs to a person or company or a group of people, Checking out 'About Us' would provide us with more background information on who is managing the website.


Regarding the Dream holiday website research , Ive found an interesting webpage which provides pictures and interactive pages to view attractions of taiwan. http://eng.taiwan.net.tw/ I hope to spend a week there! <3

Search using databases

Personally i find that searching for information through databases is an advantage compared to meta search engines or subject directory. Cuz information could be highly related as the information are only found regarding the topic ifself. for example . the lathe machine would be group under engineering.

On the other hand , i feel that google is still easier to use and is more applicable to comments and forum research. i would definitely use google to search and understand information..

Todays lecture and practical 7 was needed for part 2 of the portfolio.
I feel that citizen journalism is feective in singapore's context as there would be views and responses of different people on vary matters..

For example in STOMP. comments on acts of people were easily found after an article had beeen published.

I have not tried to share any views through wiki yet but i feel that one should have enough or proper knowledge about the topic before posting anything. HMM.

Today's a common sense class. =)

Search engines and engines every week: Though i still find that google is the most easiest and convenient to get information on hand. maybe due to using it from young...

I would not go into meta search engines or databases.
